MOUNTAIN LYNX TRANSIT
Serving Abingdon, Galax, Marion, Wytheville, Bland, Carroll, Grayson, Smyth, Washington, and Wythe
What We Do
Mountain Lynx Transit provides public transportation in Bland, Carroll, Grayson, Smyth, Washington, and Wythe counties, as well as the City of Galax. Fixed-route loops and demand-response routes serve Abingdon, Marion, Wytheville, and Galax. Mountain Lynx Transit provides demand-response service to areas of each county at least once per week. These weekly routes provide county residents with transportation to a commercial center.
Connection between Abingdon and Bristol is available each weekday while classes are in session at VHCC.
Public transportation reduces air pollution and eases traffic congestion, making Southwest Virginia a better place to live. Click on the areas below to see their routes and schedules.
