DISTRICT THREE GOVERNMENTAL COOPERATIVE is accepting applications for a Part-Time Home Maintenance Assistant.
JOB SUMMARY: Under the supervision of the Home Maintenance Coordinator, Home Maintenance Assistants perform assigned duties related to minor home repairs as required by the Chore and Home Repair Programs. For a complete job description, click Home Maint Asst Job Description 2024.
The starting pay for this position is $14.41 per hour with a work week of up to 28 hours.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS: Applicants must possess a high school diploma or equivalent. He/she must hold a current driver’s license and have "zero points or + points" driving record. Applicants must be able to lift up to 75 lbs. independently and up to 300 lbs. in a team lift as well as work outdoors in varying degrees of weather. Prior experience working in general home maintenance and carpentry work preferred. Experience working with the elderly preferred.

JOB SUMMARY: Transit Drivers primary duties include transporting public passengers in a safe and courteous manner while also helping riders who need assistance. QUALIFICATIONS: Applicants must possess a high school diploma or equivalent. He/she must hold a valid Virginia Driver’s License and have "zero points or + points" driving record. Experience in customer service preferred. Working knowledge of computers preferred. Ability to pass substance abuse testing and background check required. As an additional requirement for the job, employees must also be able to pass a DOT Physical and other Fitness for Duty tests.
