JOB SUMMARY: Under the supervision of the Director of Aging and Disability Services, the Ombudsman shall investigate complaints about care provided by long term care facilities and coordinate activities to promote wellness and prevent elder abuse. This is a paid employment training program to assist older workers with obtaining new job skills, refresh old skills and gain work experience in hopes of obtaining unsubsidized employment in the near future. These part-time positions are 20 hours per week and pay is limited to the federal minimum wage ($12.00) per hour.
