DISTRICT THREE GOVERNMENTAL COOPERATIVE will be accepting resumes/applications for a Full-Time Benefits Enrollment Counselor II.

JOB SUMMARY: Under the immediate supervision of the Aging Director, the Benefits Enrollment Counselor II will assist in connecting clients with public benefit programs by providing education, screening them for eligibility and assisting them with the application process for all public benefits for which they are eligible. They will also educate members of the community about the available benefit programs and provide assistance and referrals on other issues as needed. The starting pay for this position is $16.38 per hour with a work week of 37.5 hours.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS: Must possess a High School diploma, GED, or equivalent. Experience working Medicare beneficiaries and adults with disabilities preferred. Knowledge of Public Benefits in the service area required. Proficient computer skills a required. Must be able to focus on and deal with complex issues simultaneously. Must hold a valid driver’s license and have "zero points or + points" driving record. Background screenings, substance abuse testing, & COVID-19 Vaccination required.

JOB SUMMARY: Under the immediate supervision of the Homemaker Manager, the homemaker is responsible for housekeeping and homemaking duties for the client to promote a safe and clean-living environment. Duties to include, but not limited to: Light housekeeping, vacuuming, mopping, sweeping, cleaning refrigerator, changing linens on bed, laundry, washing dishes and cleaning bathroom.

JOB SUMMARY: Under the supervision of the Home Maintenance Coordinator, Home Maintenance Assistants perform assigned duties related to minor home repairs as required by the Chore and Home Repair Programs. JOB QUALIFICATIONS: Applicants must possess a high school diploma or equivalent. He/she must hold a current driver’s license and have "zero points or + points" driving record. Applicants must be able to lift up to 75 lbs. independently and up to 300 lbs. in a team lift as well as work outdoors in varying degrees of weather. Prior experience working in general home maintenance and carpentry work preferred. Experience working with the elderly preferred.

DISTRICT THREE GOVERNMENTAL COOPERATIVE is accepting applications for Senior Community Services Employment Program (SCSEP).

This is a paid employment training program to assist older workers with obtaining new job skills, refresh old skills and gain work experience in hopes of obtaining unsubsidized employment in the near future.  These part-time positions are 20 hours per week and pay is limited to the federal minimum wage ($7.25) per hour.
