Volunteers in Motion Program

The Volunteers in Motion Program was established by District Three on April 1, 2013 as a way to provide assistance to District Three programs, including but not limited to Congregate Meals, Friendly Calls, Patrol, Guardianship, Ombudsman, and Home Delivered Meals.

Volunteers can be of any age or place of residence, but most volunteers are likely to be age 60 and older. Services provided include informing the community of the need for volunteers, developing meaningful activities and opportunities for volunteers, linking volunteers to appropriate volunteer opportunities, providing volunteer support, and providing annual volunteer recognition events.

As a volunteer you can set your own schedule, meet new people and have fun while making a difference in someone’s life!
