Mountain Lynx Transit is available for any rider requesting transportation within the town limits. Service is provided Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 6:00 pm and Saturday, 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. All transit vehicles are wheelchair accessible. The loop buses operate hourly along a flexible route. You may board the bus anywhere along the route. Drivers have the flexibility to deviate a few blocks off the general route for a drop-off or pick-up. To arrange this service call 276.782.9300. Request-based service is available for areas within the town limits not serviced by the loop, Monday through Friday only.

Reservations are taken on a first-call basis. We recommend calling 24 hours in advance as the best way to ensure service at your preferred time. Also, please call if you need to cancel.

The Town Loop bus can deviate from the route to serve areas in the red shaded area. You may request a deviation for a drop-off when you board the bus. For a route deviation pick-up, we request reservations for next day service or the deviated pick-up will be subject to availability. Please call 276-782-9300.
