What We Do<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Mountain Lynx Transit provides public transportation in Bland, Carroll, Grayson, Smyth, Washington, and Wythe counties, as well as the City of Galax. Fixed-route loops and demand-response routes serve Abingdon, Marion, Wytheville, and Galax. Mountain Lynx Transit provides demand-response service to areas of each county at least once per week. These weekly routes provide county residents with transportation to a commercial center.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Connection between Abingdon and Bristol is available each weekday while classes are in session at VHCC.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

The use of safety belts is required.
\nMobility devices must be secured.
\nRespect other riders by maintaining good personal hygiene practices and refrain from using heavy perfumes.
\nPassengers must provide their own approved child safety seats for children three (3) years old and younger.
\nHazardous materials are prohibited, e.g. car batteries, flammables.
\nRespect others by using headphones and setting the volume for your ears only.
\nAisles and emergency exits must be kept clear of personal belongings.
\nDisorderly and disruptive behaviors, both verbal and physical, will not be tolerated.
\nNo smoking, eating or drinking.<\/p>\n
