Part-time Care Manager: Part- time position available, (position will be housed out of the Marion Office). Under the immediate supervision of the Care Coordination Services Director, he/she shall provide outreach services, information and assistance, Options Counseling services and legal services via the case management approach. The Care Manager shall also be a contact person for DTGC in the field. The pay rate for this position is $16.29 per hour with a work week of 22.5 hours (3days).Applicants shall have received a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work or a related field and two or more years relevant work experience. He/she must hold a current driver’s license and have "zero points or + points" driving record. Experience working with the Aging population preferred. Substance abuse testing required. Part-time Home Maintenance Assistant: Under the supervision of the Home Maintenance Coordinator, Home Maintenance Assistants perform assigned duties related to minor home repairs as required by the Chore and Home Repair Programs (day-to-day routine home maintenance, minor carpentry work, and minor plumbing work). The pay rate for this part-time position is $10.00 per hour with a work week of 22.5 hours. Applicants must possess a high school diploma or equivalent. He/she must hold a current driver’s license and have "zero points or + points" driving record. Applicants must be able to lift up to 75 lbs. independently and up to 300 lbs. in a team lift as well as work outdoors in varying degrees of weather. Prior experience working in general home maintenance and carpentry work required. Substance abuse testing required. Part-time Homemaker II: 4 Vacancies (2 positions in Smyth County, 1 position in Washington County, 1 position in Wythe County) Under the immediate supervision of the Homemaker Manager, the homemaker is responsible for housekeeping and homemaking duties for the client to promote a safe and clean living environment. Starting rate of pay for these positions is $10:00 per hour with a work week of 24 hours. All applicants must possess a high school diploma or equivalent. He/she must hold a current driver’s license and have "zero points or + points" driving record. Experience in cleaning services and working with the aging population is preferred. Transit Drivers: Under the immediate supervision of the Area Supervisor, the Drivers will act in a courteous manner at all times, be responsible for transporting public riders, collect fares and maintain positive control of fare boxes, assist passengers with boarding and exiting the vehicle giving special aid to the disabled & inspect vehicle to ensure the vehicle operates safely. The pay rate for this position is $10.00 per hour for non-CDL Drivers and $11.00 per hour for CDL Drivers with P endorsement.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS: Applicants must possess a high school diploma or equivalent. He/she must hold a current driver’s license and have "zero points or + points" driving record. Previous driving experience required. Customer service skills preferred. Certain vehicles require a CDL and Passenger endorsement. CDL training available upon hire. Transit Operations Specialists: are responsible for answering incoming transit phone calls, monitoring and responding to radio calls, using telephone and radio to coordinate passengers and drivers, maintaining manifests and passenger lists, maintaining driver timesheets, relaying information between appropriate parties & completing reports at the end of each day outlining the day’s events. The pay rate for this position is $10.00 (non-CDL)/ $11.89 (CDL w/ P endorsement) with a work week of up to 27 hours. CDL training available.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS: Applicants must possess a high school diploma or equivalent. He/she must hold a current driver’s license and have "zero points or + points" driving record. Applicants must possess intermediate computer skills. Experience in navigation and/or dispatch preferred.
